A Comprehensive System
The system includes strut extensions and special base plates designed to support a wide variety of contact points. Truly a system that will not stop growing. RescueStruts can be used in excavation collapse (trenches, mines), stabilisation of crashed vehicles and reinforcing structures weakened by fire, earthquake or an explosion.

The Go Anywhere System
Paratech RescueStruts are truly a “go anywhere” system. Fire departments and civil defense agencies can move this equipment to a collapse site with relative ease. The operation is simple and safe.

Base Plates
Designed to be the struts contact point, Paratech’s wide assortment of aluminium alloy base and end plates offer unparalleled versatility in the widest range of collapse support situations.

ACME Thread Strut
The Acme Thread Strut consists of five sizes of extendible struts. Each strut consists of a 3” aluminium alloy tube with a solid 2-½” aluminium alloy movable Acme threaded shaft. The four largest sizes can be extended manually or activated by air, carbon dioxide or nitrogen.
The Acme Thread Strut allows soft placement at collapse incidents and can be safely secured under the area to be supported with a minimum of shock to the load.
Lockstroke Strut
The LockStroke Rescue Strut consists of four sizes of extendible struts. Each strut consists of a 3” aluminium alloy tube with a solid 2-½ aluminium alloy moveable grooved shaft, and can be extended manually or activated by air, carbon dioxide or nitrogen.
The LockStroke RescueStrut locks automatically in an extended position and does not require hand inserted locking pins. This LockStroke RescueStrut can be extended and locked from a remote location without endangering rescue personnel.
Long Shore and Extensions
The Acme Thread Long Shore System consists of three sizes or extendable Long Shores ranging from 6 ft. to 16 ft. Each Long Shore consists of a 3-½” aluminium alloy tube with a 3” aluminium alloy threaded shaft that can be extended manually or activated by air, carbon dioxide or nitrogen.
The Acme Thread Long Shore allows soft placement at collapse incidents and can be safely secured with a minimum of shock to the load. All aluminium alloy components of the Long Shore System are hard anodised to reduce electrical conductivity and increase strength and wearability.
