Elk leather is very soft and remains soft after washing.Glove also has a SENTINEL breathable modacrylic liner and exceeds NFPA 1971 current edition.

Fed Osha Cal Osha compiant,gold split leather cowhide, gunn cut, wing thumb. The back has an elastic snugger band in the wrist area for secure fit.

 

Leather welting is sewn on palm side of the two middle fingers for additional support. A leather patch is sewn in the thumb crotch area to improve wear.A modacrylic liner for increased thermal protection.

The Quest vented neck-styled Balaclavas, model ULBNOH2E-00 are made of a Basofil/Nomex material and offer a full double layer hood and neck with an elastic face.

 

They are more UV resistant and less chemical sensitive and have a much higher TTP and thermal resistance than plain Nomex hoods. They are light weight and conform to the latest NFPA specifications, 1971-97 edition as certified by Underwriters Laboratories.
